Battlefield Mall
Battlefield Mall, located in Springfield, Missouri, is 1.2 million square feet on one level (two in some anchor stores). Battlefield mall is the largest shopping mall in the area.〔(Battlefield Mall info )〕

The mall's name is derived from the fact that it is located at the corner of Glenstone and Battlefield Road, a major thoroughfare in Springfield. The street name is, in turn, taken from the city of Battlefield, Missouri, which is named in honor of Battle of Wilson's Creek, a famous American Civil War battle that took place near the area.
